Recording a narration in Movie Maker

Movie Maker makes it really easy to record a voice narration over your movie. The program even has a built-in recording wizard that allows you to record over a microphone while you watch a preview of your movie.

This feature is very useful, and allows you to quickly narrate descriptive videos. For example, if you are selling a house, you could film all the rooms and later record a running commentary to go with it.

Another great use for a voice track is in creating picture slideshows. You could take pictures from your digital camera, lay them on the MovieMaker timeline, and then record a narration for your “slideshow!”
To use this function, you’re going to need a microphone.

To use the voice track wizard, simply press the “Narrate timeline” button located to the left of the timeline. When you click this button, the narration wizard will pop-up and give you some recording options. Most of these are pretty obvious … you can click “show more options” to see more recording choices.

You’ll need to pick your recording device (your sound card) and plug a microphone into your computer’s microphone-in jack.

Opinion about a travel

Hi, better late than never :)
I divide my opinion about Madrid in three paragraphs.

Academic part: In this travel I have known many places where I enjoyed a lot. I like museums and you can learn several things there (better with guide). We had to make an oral presentation in a high school in Alcala de Henares and it was interesting. Luckly, it was in Spanish, but we´d have said it in English too if required.

Social part: There were another classes of another high school there and we have met they all, it was very funny!

Cultural part: In my case, that was my first travel to the peninsula. And I have realized that my town in Gran Canaria is such small. The huge buildings are beautiful, highly decorated. And such large roads too. I was amazed!
Alcala de Henares has a rich history, like Cervantes´house. As it is here Vegueta.
There are many kiosks, but trade is basically the same as here.
I have come to the conclusion that I want to return there and may be live for a year. The worst thing that could happen to me,is to get lost in the underground. But the tube is so cool!!!
I can´t wait to Great Britain :D

Hello, I`m Kira, and I`m going to speak about the trip in Madrid, Tuesday morning we went to Alcala de Henares school and we did e presentations about the millennium development goals. I think that it was very good, but we was very nervous. I have to say that somethings we had to do very quicly, but finally, it was right. Maybe we would learn a litle bit more. I thin that black theathre was more less, because, we can´t do much more, because the conditions was wrong.
I love Madrid, it is very beautiful and ancient, I think that in the future I will go to study there. We saw very interesting places, and it was very very entertained. And we learned a little bit more of spanish culture and history.
We met many people, the mayority from Canarias like us, but many of their are now our friends, and I think that people in Alcala de henares are going to be ours friends to, when they come here.
I had one of the best experiences in my live. I learn many things, but not only culture. Human things and I very proud of us, because we did thing well

MaDriD =)

My Opinion of Madrid's Trip

I'm going to speak about three parts:
1-Academic part: I think that we worked a lot and we did the presentations very well, I puted very nervous but I could finish my part. The high school of the Rincon couldn't do all the presentations because they had problems with the computer or something similar.
Our black theatre representation was quite well apart from the problems that we had with the floor, the music...
2-Cultural part: We visited a lot of importants places, museums... and I learned a lot of culture.
Now I don't want to visit a museum for a long time. XD
3-Social part: I met a lot of people an I felt very confident with you.
IT WAS GREAT, MAGNIFIC...
I never forget this stupendic trip and the magnific people tha you are. (Kisses)

OUR TRIP!

Hello boys and girls!
I'm going to tell you my personal opinion about the travel to Madrid, so open your eyes and read! hahaha
I think that we did the best presentations on Tuesday and from my point of view many people noticed that the other students didn't prepear their proyects too much.
Now I am going to explain my opinion about the city and the people we met in madrid !
I really liked Alcalá de Henares, it is very beautiful and we could see storks on the top of some cathedrals !! I liked the underground too, because it's faster than other transports and for me was funny entered to it very quickly every days although I feel scared too because I was always thinking " Saray you will stay in the station because you are slow ! hahahaha
And with my partners... I haven't words for you ! You made me happy every days but two weeks ago in Madrid, you were like my family and I liked too much live with all of you ! We were always laughing and laughing . I hope you never forget this trip because we are more united because of it ! Teachers ! hahaha I felt that I was with my parents all the week but with you were more funny !! thanks !!

Can we go to Madrid again? hahaha

I LOVE MY CLASSMATES AND FRIENDS!
1.-Academic Part

About the presentations, I´m happy with our work.Among all the groups,in may opinion we were the work more prepared, although we didn´t have much time as others.

2.-Cultural Part

I like the cultural part, because we saw many monuments and also visited some well known places in Madrid.I like the places that we visited.

3.-Social Part

Apart from that we met many people, also we have improced our life together.

Marina´s opinion!

My Opinion of Madrid´s Trip

  • From my point of view, in the academic part, the presentations of I.E.S SCHAMANN was very good, because we worked very hard with it. We did a game of clean point , we did tripticos in English what it deal with millennium development goal and we did three presentation of three goal of millennium ( 1: Eradicate poverty and hunger , 2: Promote gender equality and empower women , 4:Reduce child mortality) Well , my opinion of the other groups are that its project wasn´t very work.
  • From my point of view, in the cultures part , we went to a beautiful and lovely place , such as the different side of Alcala de Henares etc. Them we went to three deferent museum : The first that we visited , was Prado museum , in it there were a lot of frame what were drawn by different artist , such as Goya , Velazquez etc. In this museum one girl explained as thing what artist wanted to show us. Them we went to Reina Sofia museum and we saw the “Guernica” by Picaso , that he wanted show one war what kill a lot of people. And in the end we went to wax museum , it was boring , because it haven’t a lot of famous .

  • From my point of view , in the part social, I didn’t know that I went to do a good friend there, Ricon´s pupils were very nice people.

The Millennium Development Goals

Eradicate extrem poverty and hunger

Intex

  • What are the Millenium Development Goals?

  • What is Poverty?

  • What is Hunger?

  • Which are the objectives to eradicate this problem?

  • Solutions

What are the Millennium Development Goals?

The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) are eight goals to be achieved by 2015 that respond to the world's main development challenges. The MDGs are drawn from the actions and targets contained in the Millennium Declaration that was adopted by 189 nations-and signed by 147 heads of state and governments during the UN Millennium Summit in September 2000.

What is Poverty?

Poverty refers to the condition of not having the means to afford basic human needs, such as clean water, nutrition, health care, clothin and shelter. And relative poverty is the condition of having fewer resources or less income than others. As:

1.200 million people live on less than one dollar a day.

28.000 children die from poverty related causes everyday.

More than 90% are suffering long-term malnourishment and micronutrient deficiency, because they don´t have nothing to eat, and in this world if there is no money, there is no food to eat.

What is Hunger?

We all know what hunger is. We recognize that feeling in our stomachs, and when we feel it, we don't usually have to much of a problem putting an end to it.

But for more than 850 million people, the hunger never ends and every 3,6 seconds one person dies of starvation.

Which are the objectives to eradicate this problem?

Reduce the poverty and hunger from those countries that hase less. As more than 900 million people live in extreme poverty, before, they were more.

Reduce by half the proportion of people living on less than a dollar a day.

Reduce by half the proportion of people who suffer from hunger.

Solutions

What can be done by Government to eradicate poverty and hunger

Did you know that natural disasters and armed conflicts are affecting between 5% and 10% of hungry people worldwide. At present, there is a technology and food production capacity enouhg for all people. But the really problem is in the access and distribution of weakth, resources, markets and knowledge. The governments should provide more facilities for those countries whitout a charge, because these places have a large external debt, and after a natural disaster or armed conflict they became poorer; like in Haiti or Afghanistan. And there are many NGOs they can work with.

What can common people do?

We can:

  • Sponsor a child

  • Don't throw Food

  • Don't wasting money on nonsenses

  • Help NGOs

We know what is really happening and if we do a hard effort, if all of us do a hard effort, the Millennium Development Goals could be achieve.
